ECLIPSE ETERNAL Preparing To Enter Studio

December 23, 2009

Canadian epic black metal band ECLIPSE ETERNAL has issued the following update:

"We are currently working on our newest abum, entitled 'The Essence Of Hopelessness'. We hope to start recording sometime in late January/early February, if all goes as planned. So far we have seven songs written. Tentative songtitles are:

* Deathbound
* Writing With A Razor Upon The Blue Lines
* Ancient Voices On The Wind
* Know That I Am The Noose
* You Are Nothing
* The Essence Of Hopelessness
* Ode To A Time Long Gone

"The album will be just under a hour in length. Also, we have been announced as openers for Toronto's IMMORTAL date (March 27th at the Opera House). We will be playing four songs, including two new ones."

ECLIPSE ETERNAL's "The Dragon Has Come to Blot out the Stars" video can be viewed below. According to the group, the clip was shot during October/November 2007 by Dark Frame Pictures with director Adrian Kent and "was financed by the band and by Dark Frame Pictures exclusively."

"The Dragon Has Come to Blot out the Stars" comes off ECLIPSE ETERNAL's most recent album, "Ubermensch: Evolution beyond the Species", which was mixed in Sweden by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, ZYKLON, OLD MAN'S CHILD). The CD is available through The End Records distribution.
